We have to wait for the FAA to put out an RFI/A so we know what we are doing. I put a call in today to see what is going on.

Fresh back from F-38…
The upshot and highpoint of this meeting was the following questionings to FAA personnel. I’ll be heading up and assembling a team for design criteria for types 1 and 2 sUAS. “In light of the Administrators comments made in the later part of last year and reiterated at TAAC by FAA personnel… Are UAS a priority, and what is the level of support/commit for the work on these standards?” We were all told that there is support. I also asked about accountability on the part of the FAA. The community has put a lot of time and resources into this effort and it is very obvious that we have little to show.
